1. Why I can't switch on my MP3 Player?
  1. Please check to see if the batteries are placed properly or not.
  2. Please check if replacement of another new battery would be needed.
  3. Please check that the ˇ§Holdˇ¨ button is released yet.
  4. Format the Player if the problem persists.
  5. Due to high performance requirement of this player, please make sure use of high
    quality battery.
  6. Please remove the battery, and plug in again when the Player does not show up the screen on the first time when you replace a new battery.
2. Why my MP3 Player cannot be detected in my computer?
  1. Please check that you have switched on your MP3 Player (by pressing the ˇ§PLAYˇ¨ button) before connecting it to the USB port.
  2. After connecting the MP3 Player to the computer, check ˇ§My Computerˇ¨ to see if a ˇ§ Removable Drive ˇ¨ is present. If it is found, it means that the Player is properly connected.
  3. If the Player still cannot be detected, format it (see P.16 3.10 Formatting UMP3). Repeat the above step again.
  4. If the Player remains undetected, re-plug the player or reinstalling the driver and then repeat Step 2 & 3 to see if the Player can be detected properly.
  5. If the Player also remains undetected, check the pre-installed driver of another USB device, try to uninstall the other USB devices and repeat Step 2 & 3 to see if the Player can be detected properly.
  6. If the problem persists even after reinstalling the driver, please try the above steps in another computer. Detection failure may be due to the incompatibility of part of your computer's hardware.
3. Why English song titles cannot be displayed fully?
  1. The MP3 Player is defaulted to display only 12digits, so song titles longer than this cannot be displayed fully.
4. Why I can't use the ˇ§Backlightˇ¨ function?
  1. You can reset the ˇ§Backlightˇ¨ function of your MP3 Player. If the problem still exists, please bring it to the authorized maintenance department for reparation.
5. Why I can't install the driver to my computer?
  1. Windows 95 and Windows 98a (First Edition) do not support USB interface, so please upgrade to Windows 98SE (Second Edition), ME, 2000 or XP. You do not need any driver for Windows ME, 2000 and XP.

  1. This MP3 can support the compress ratio from 85kbps up to 256kbps, the typical compress ratio is 182 and 196bps, please check the compressed ratio of your own songs.
